Welcome to the Woods Hotel, in beautiful Jackson Hole

About the Woods Hotel

A welcoming entrance

The Woods Hotel is a newly remodeled, yet quaint and cozy historic building built in the 1950’s. The property was originally called the Huff's Motel. In the 1970’s it was bought by the Woods family of Salt Lake City, who renamed the property the Woods Motel, and managed it until 1998. Situated in downtown Jackson Hole, we have lovingly remodeled this Jackson Hole property and renamed it The Woods Hotel.

In 2006, the current owners purchased the property, and the eleven unique and cozy rooms of the Woods Hotel were upgraded to provide our guests with quality and comfort, while preserving a part of the buildings heritage. Each room invites you to snuggle down into our King size pillow top beds with down comforters for a restful, dream filled night. Our goal is to provide a cozy, comfortable lodging retreat in Jackson Hole.

This quiet, non-smoking property is located in the heart of Jackson Hole on Glenwood Street, is a central destination to spectacular scenery, and a gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks. A destination for those who enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle, one can view moose, elk, coyotes, deer and bears, and enjoy breathtaking hikes. Experience all that Jackson Hole has to offer, including extraordinary, world-class skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling.

Dine at one of the many fine restaurants Jackson offers. Enjoy a night on the town. Take in a movie, live show, or concert. Engage in a multitude of sports, including Golf, Tennis, whitewater rafting, horse back riding and climbing. Watch a re-enactment of life in the Old West as you witness a shoot-out on the town square. Shop for couture, fine art, jewelry, or fresh, locally grown produce at the Farmer’s Market in the heart of Jackson every Saturday morning.

We want to be the first to welcome you to Jackson Hole.
